Yet pain’s all relative, especially when you’re used to flying with the angels and happen to be last in turnover differential in the Pac-10, behind even Stanford and Arizona at -5 for the year.

The USC boards are calling for the humanitarian’s head much less frequently than they were after the Stanford loss*. Either the bandwagoners have jumped ship (you’re welcome, Ohio State fans!) or rationality has set in. Nonetheless, this season kind of sucks, and I wish the offense would open the hell up already.
*Loss still not officially recognized by the international community.

Most USC people seem to be taking this past loss in stride The choke against Stanford hurt way more. Oregon is a very good team and with a win over ASU they should be right in the MNC hunt. I’d love to see them win the whole thing since they were the school who got the biggest shafting of the BCS era the last time they were a serious contender (yes I DO remember what happened to Auburn).
Besides USC still has lots to play for. If USC and Oregon both win out from here then Oregon could make the MNC game and USC could still sneak into the Rose Bowl.
