NICE IDEA; POOR HAND/TONGUE COORDINATION
Working away this a.m., but this has to go somewhere.
That’s probably the best piece of film Oklahoma State could watch to sum up their defensive performance last night. To stop Oklahoma, you may need tactical nukes, and even then given their recent streak, they’d probably just ricochet off someone’s hands and into Jermaine Gresham’s for a touchdown.

It is fitting that this guy does this while Munsburger is talking.

Saw this live, was wondering where I’d see it first this a.m.- quite proud that it’s here, still the original and still the best- cheers, Orson. Now let’s go curb-stomp Alabama.

“To stop Oklahoma, you may need…” Texas’ defense. That is the bottom line. OU is not a complete team, only a team with a ’shiny’ offense that runs up points in junk time and doesn’t know how to take a knee and the pollsters swoon over it. Their defense is porous at best. They will get destroyed by Florida in a 72 to 50 type game.

The Soak @ Doak…
It was over when… Tim Tebow and the speedy Gators arrived safely at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Gameball goes to… Tebow, who threw three TDs and rushed for 80 yards and another score.
Stat of the game… 8.4, 6.9. The Gators averaged 8.4 yards per pass and 6.9 per rush.

That man has achieved immortality for all the wrong reasons.
Now, begin the debate of who gets to win the Big XII South and, therefore, gets to play Florida for the national championship.

So Gators, just how bad are you gonna beat Alabama?
Lets see some predictions….just for shits and giggles, do ya think you could beat Ole Miss if ya had another try? In their house? How bout a neutral field?
How about beating them without Harvin? Lets hear some theories and proof on that….
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxFfGEig-qA
Now how do you think you can curbstomp Alabama, when Bama is stronger and faster and smarter? With a better coach? Do ya think Ole Miss had anything to do with forcing the Florida turnovers, or was Florida just feeling generous? Do you think Florida can turn it over once and beat Bama?

#3 You are so, so, so, so, wrong when you say “OU… is only a team with a shiny offense that runs up points in junk time and doens’t know how take a knee…”
OU’s fourth-quarter scoring through out the year, by game is as follows:
0 - against chattanooga
10 - against big east champ cincinnati
7 - at Washington, TD wrapped up a drive that began in 3rd quarter
0 - against bowl-bound TCU
7 - against Baylor
7 - loss to Texas
7 - shootout game with bowl-bound Kansas
3 - at KSU, OU scored 55 in the first half, no points in 3rd quarter
0 - against bowl-bound Nebraska, OU scored 62 before the 4th quarter
0 - at A&M, OU scored 66 before the 4th, the last TD in the 3rd was a defensive TD
7 - against #2 Texas Tech. OU also avoided scoring again in the 4th by running 4 consecutive dives into the middle of the line at the Texas Tech 1 yd line.
24 - shootout win at bowl-bound Ok. State, where we needed every point we could muster. By the way, that final TD came on a drive consisting of 4 consecutive runs into the middle of the line in an attempt to run out the clock. Ok. State called a timeout to stop the clock during that drive as well.
While I agree with your assesment that OU is not a complete team, you can take your argument that OU has run up the score this year, roll it up into a ball, and cram it in your pie hole.

I have to agree completely with #10. OU hasnt run up the score in the sense of throwing it deep late in the fourth quarter. They have done their damage in the first three and run clock to get the game over

Monte is coming to Tennessee with his son. I feel much better about this hire now. Now all we need is coach O to come aboard as D-Line coach/Purveyor of asskickings.

I am so sick of hearing about the Ole Miss game. Big deal a team that knows that they are completely overstocked with talent goes out and doesn’t respect a team they should have beat. If you didn’t notice Florida has been taking every team seriously since.
Not to mention a bit of inside information but a friend of mine delievered some pizzas to the football players dorm at 3:30 in the morning the night before the Ole Miss game. He saw a number of key players there who were clearly intoxicated. I don’t think they have been partying the night before games since.

MPP, the “stronger and faster and smarter” line is a little odd- I’m not sure if you’ve got a link to 225 reps, somebody’s sub 10.00 dash, and another’s stellar GMATs (not to mention the “better coach,” which I’m unsure of how it would be calculated unless it’s in national championships, except oops, that’s tied at one apiece).
I will say though that when Alabama’s teeth meet the curb around 5 pm Saturday (I’m giving your “stronger faster smarter” group about a quarter before realizing what everyone else post-Ole Miss has found out), I’ll be sending another gift basket to Senor Nutt, greatest thing that happened to Florida football this year.

In reference to my comment, I was making it in comparision to Ole Miss, i.e. we are a better team than Ole Miss, not Florida. Florida clearly has more speed at skill positions than Bama, and better QB play. What I am curious to find out is how Florida handles a team that is more physically DOMINANT on both sides of the ball than Ole Miss, and can run the ball inside and outside. And can stop the run on the inside… I am curious to see what Scheme Nick Saban comes up with on defense to confuse Tebow…plus Bama wont give Florida 21 points off of turnovers and muffed special teams plays, or give up 40 yrd plays.

#10-
Nice job only using half of the data to prove your point. “Junk time” doesn’t mean only the 4th quarter. You had a big lead on TTU at the 1/2 and continued to push the gas.
How many points did KU score on you? How about OSU? How about Texas? Same for any other common opponents.
Your defense is terrible and will get outed in both the Big XII and BCS CG, if you make it. Using the BCS (that was never meant to be used until ALL games were played) to decide a conference champion is horseshit. This whole system is a farce.
Have fun embarrassing the BigXII and OU in the CG when you get your asses handed to you for the 5th straight time in a BCS bowl.

If Florida beats Bama they won’t be left out of Miami, stop worrying. The reason they are lower in the stupid computer rankings is their strength of schedule. . . whether or not its correct. . . . the highest team they’ve played is Georgia at 16 and the 2nd highest is Florida State at 24. Texas and Oklahomas have played each other, as well as 7 Texas Tech, 14, Okl State, etc. Once Florida plays Alabama if they win, they will vault in the computer rankings. Bama would obv fall in the standings but not far. On top of that, Florida will be a SOLID one or two in the polls, depending on the impressiveness of the win vs. the impressiveness of Oklahoma’s win, they’ll be far in front of Texas in the polls. Quit crying all will be ok.

#17 what was OU supposed to do mid-way through the 3rd quarter in those blowouts? take a knee? name one coach that takes a knee in the middle of the 3rd quarter…. I thought so.
as for pushing the gas on Texas Tech… again… you know nothing.
OU’s play selection in the 2nd half against Tech:
-22 rushes
-14 pass attempts including sacks (only 9 attempts when bradford was still in)
say what you want about OU’s defense and God-awful kickoff coverage, but the one thing OU has NOT done this year is run up the score. Thank you very much. You may now be excused.

CincySooner-
Seriously, Bob put on the brakes against TT? Really? He went for it on 4th down inside the 5 yard line of Tech in the last few minutes of the game while up almost 40 points.
No matter how you spin it, Medium Game Bob kept his foot on the pedal to score the most points possible to make up for a lackluster defense. Their defense is horrid. There is a reason Clemson passed on Venables and kept Dabo for god’s sake. BV is a terrible coordinator. Hell, even OU fans have wanted to get rid of that guy for years.
Bob knew that without a ridiculous amount of ’style points’ there would be no way to overcome a head to head loss. He was politicking like crazy from the end of the TT game (during his on field interview) and continued politicking until Tuesday morning when he announced “he was done politicking.” And then he had the balls to call a presser last night to gloat and rub Mack for his politicking. The friggin’ OKC media was eating it up and tossing softballs about how he “stayed above the shameless politics.”

If Stoops wanted to pile on another touchdown in the 4th quarter, he would have put in Chris Brown and run him in on 1st and Goal from the one.
Instead he put in 3rd stringer Mossis Madu and ran him 4 times into the middle of the line.
Stoops did not run up the score in that game… OU was just executing the offense.
