Orson Swindle and Stranko Montana are two men pushing thirty who should know better than to run a college football blog, but evidently don't. Both graduated from the University of Florida, and both agree that college football is far too important to be left to the professionals.

So, is it that Trev doesn’t have a sense of irony at all or that his sense of irony is so developed that his humor went over my head and seemed completely serious?
When the camera panned back and showed the fake Atlanta backdrop against the brick wall, I couldn’t decide whether or not Trev was trying to make me laugh.
I’m going to be upset about this for the rest of the day. At least he was wearing pants.

And so the pecking order now goes Keith Jackson, Lou Holtz, Leather Berman, The Mighty O, the guy that writes FireMarkMay (tied with Pete and the big blue crew) and THEN Trey?
That’s powervision.

I nominate Orson Swindle/Spencer Hall as the most influential person on the tubes and interwebs. He is the closest thing to E.F. Hutton that we have.

“What The Blog?” is the single worst sentence to come out of Trev’s mouth, and that was still incredible. My brain exploded.

If it was “tongue in cheek,” it was horribly done.
Tongue in cheek would have been to play to it a little more, had a good laugh, etc.
I can see how Trev might have viewed his response in that manner, but it just does not come off that way, to me.

3 - Maybe the Westside/King Plow district or down in Cabbagetown.
I wish the sky was as clear as that backdrop’s cloudless blue.

It seemed a little tongue in cheek to me.

It is sort of cool that he did this even though he could have done so much more with it and endeared himself to a world of fans to whom he is not Mr. Popular.
He also conveniently neglected to mention that O referenced that Trev is, in all likelihood, still pulling in more coin.
Anyway, I can see both sides of the issue, but when you go on TV as an analyst, you are a public figure and you should be prepared for whatever comes with it, and had Trev played this better, he could have been the 2nd coming of, “Uncle Verne.”
Conversely, I don’t think Trev Alberts really desires to be, “that guy.”

It looks like they only need one more member, and they could be the Village People of TV production. Maybe Trev is trying to recruit Orson as his cowboy.
