I guess computer programers from Southern Asia just didn’t come out in the droves that were expected to watch Northern Illinois defeat Troy State.
Two SEC players continue our fine regional tradition of conspicuous alcohol consumption in public places. First, someone breaks something over the thick skull of Clemson offensive lineman Roman Fry, who declines to say exactly how he ended up bleeding from his head outside of a bar. Not to be outdone, Arkansas TE Jared Hicks gets arrested for public intoxication in Fayetteville.
In yet another example of why college football needs a playoff, the BCS is doing it annual revisions to address concerns raised last year that will no doubt create differenct problems this year. We all know what the real solution to the BCS problems are…. a playoff.
Orson Swindle and Stranko Montana are two men pushing thirty who should know better than to run a college football blog, but evidently don't. Both graduated from the University of Florida, and both agree that college football is far too important to be left to the professionals.
