Orson Swindle and Stranko Montana are two men pushing thirty who should know better than to run a college football blog, but evidently don't. Both graduated from the University of Florida, and both agree that college football is far too important to be left to the professionals.

It the SEC cotton-pickers are so good, how can two of its top teams get B L O W N out recently, one UGA at home?
The LSU Tigresses went down faster than Kimbo Slice did last Saturday against pink hair man and the beating was almost just as bad.
The SEC is no big deal anymore..

Allaha, there’s no way SC’s going to be in the Nat’l Championship game. They’ve been working on their efficiency so that they can have two shocking losses a season.

8 & 9 -
I agree that Tx Tech at 5 looks too high, but they will have the chance to justify and improve the ranking given that 4 of the Top 10 teams are in the Big 12 South.
How is USC at 4 ?!? They have no quality wins and lost to a very average team. . . . OU and Georgia (and maybe Florida and LSU) can each claim to have resumes as good as the Trojans.
Given the fraticide in the Big 12 and SEC, it is regretably likely that it will be USC vs. the winner of PSU-tOSU (arguing Pryor and Wells makes them a different team) — especially if the Big 12 and SEC champs have 2 losses. . . . Arrrrgghhh.

Seriously? Can Alabama even get a mention here? We’re undefeated, and against ranked teams, it’s not like we’re playing DeVry and the University of Phoenix. Why, oh why is nobody drinking the crimson kool-aid? I am well aware that the play has been getting sloppier and sloppier, but it’s been getting the job done (which is more than I can say for *ahem* CERTAIN teams). A little credit please?

John, your link did not work, yet I modified it slightly here, and it did the job.
Actually, the poll looks pretty close, by and large.

Texas is #1, but Bama’s only behind by 17 points.

I can’t wait to hear Pat Dye’s comments on Finebaum next week. Aubarn made Casey Dick, yes Casey Dick, look like a real college QB yesterday.
Tejas will lose somewhere, as will Satan. The winna of the JoePa/Sweatervest game will be in the NC game against SoCal, unless if UF runs the table.
HoHum.

I still don’t understand the out of bounds kickoff, but that was fun times.
Full marks to the LSU fan behind us who even at the end, at every touchdown, reminded us that “LSU doesn’t miss extra points.” No, you lose far more decisively.
Dan Mullen can stay… for now.
