Your Mustache Wednesday Featured Mustache of the Day: Garthe Knight: dashing man of international intrigue, tractor-trailer-rig-of-unstoppable-terror visionary, gambler, and evil, evil twin brother of Michael Knight…who most certainly was not just David Hasselhoff with the donut duster and chin-splitter flued on.
Remember: evil loves to ventilate the ol’ man pelt with a loose shirt unbuttoned to at least the second button. It also loves superfluous vowels on names.
Definitely not David Hasselhoff: evil twin Garthe Knight.

That clip brought back awesome 5-year-old memories for me. In the fall of 1983, or whenever the hell that episode was aired, KITT vs. Goliath was the biggest event of the season for kindergarten boys everywhere.

Am I the only one who marvelled at how effeminate the voice of KITT was? It seemed like any minute the car was going to excitedly lisp to him, “Michael, there’s a white sale at Nordstrom’s. Stop!”

Heh… that’s kind of weird that Garthe is Michael’s twin brother, considering that in the pilot episode, Michael had to have plastic surgery to look like David Hasselhoff.
1980’s TV writers… too coked up to remember what they had previously written.
