“Step right up folks, step right up. Throw the ball, hit the barn and win a prize. Everybody’s a winner.”
Man steps up – “Hi there little fella. What’s your name?”
“Denard”
“Well, Denard, go ahead and take a shot. Let’s see what you’ve got.”
Hands ball to Denard. Denard throws. Ball sails thirty yards over barn.
“So close! Give it another shot.”
Hands ball to Denard. Denard throws. Ball sails thirty yards to the right of barn.
“Oooooohhhhh, almost had it that time. Give it one more try.”
Hands ball to Denard, Denard throws. Ball hits barn. Denard jumps up and down with joy.
“Aw, sorry about that, Denard, but the ball can’t skip six times before it hits the barn.”
Denard walks away sad.
Next man steps up.
“And you sir, what’s your name?”
“Chris.”
‘Hi there, Chris. That sure is a a pretty blue and orange shirt you have. Let’s see what you can do.”
Tries to hand ball to Chris. Ball goes through hands and hits the ground.
“Hmmm, sorry about that. Here let me get that for you.”
Tries to hand ball to Chris again. Ball goes through hands and hits the ground.
‘Strange. I’ve never seen this before.”
Tries to hand ball to Chris one more time. Ball goes through hands and hits ground.
Chris walks away dejectedly.
Stranger appears out of thin air.
“Whoa, you startled me, sir. Would you like to give it try?”
“Sure.”
Hands ball to stranger. Stranger throws ball in the direction of barn. Barn explodes and it begins raining beer and wonderfulness.
“Oh my God! How did you do that mister, uh, what did you say your name was?”
“Didn’t. Don’t worry about it, bro. It’s just what I do.”
Stranger vanishes.
