This story is so incredibly stupid that it required more than three photoshops to properly discuss/appreciate. Go Gators.
“Out with the Frying Pan” is the twelfth mission in GTA: Gainesville. This guide will highlight the main mission strategies needed to both finish the mission and achieve a 100% completion score.
The mission begins after completing “Shark Week.” Note: “Out with the Frying Pan” will not be available until “Shark Week” has been played all the way through, and achievement “Riders of the Lost Shark” has been unlocked.
PART ONE: TAY BANG SENDS YOU A TEXT
After a brief cutscene, check your phone for messages. You should have one from gambler Tay Bang, who was last seen in the game’s eighth mission, “Always Bet the Under.” Open it.

Tay Bang has lost money betting on your football team. Tay Bang is not happy with you. There is another short cutscene and conversation with Tay Bang. He calls the team “garbage”, and then vows revenge.

Tay Bang wants to meet at the Dorms.
PART TWO: STOCK UP
At this point in the game you should be low on weapons and ammo, so it is a good time to stop by the Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center over by the interstate.

Be sure to pick up the Heavy-Ass Frying Pan and the Airsoft Rifle That Technically Gets You Around Real Bad Firearms Charges Maybe???
A fun fact: The Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center is a great place to hide from the police at any Wanted level. Simply slip into a deer blind and watch the police instantly lose interest in you as they get distracted by fishing tackle and discounted dry-fit shirts.
PART THREE: TAY BANG ARRIVES

Proceed to the Dorms. Bang will arrive with his crew of native wildlife. After a short cutscene where Bang provides comic relief by admitting to betting on Florida football to win, they will begin to fight. Fighting his crew is fairly easy, and comes with a great bonus. Defeating an endangered species in combat in the game gets you one step closer to unlocking the important “Triggering the Libs” achievement.

Tay Bang himself is a tougher fight. Use the Frying Pan, keep moving the whole time, and stick to it. After enough hits, Bang will flee the scene. He’s done with the fight...but the war has only just begun.
PART FOUR: ESCAPE
Leave the scene. We recommend taking any form of public transit, since not even the police believe they exist.

Once your wanted levels fall to zero, the mission will be completed. Congrats!
Reminder: Finishing “Shark Week” is required to access “Out with the Frying Pan”. Most people think it feels like it takes three years to finish, and it really does.
