Not since tailgating at Notre Dame has being a nerd been so cool. The Spelling Bee, which has had its cult following on the world wide leader, will now be telecast live on ABC on June 1, 2006. We are certain that failing on live prime time television will have no long lasting detrimental effects on these over achievers.
All those also rans will have a bright and healthy future ahead of them, like the well adjusted Donnie Smith no doubt.
