THE HITS KEEP COMING FOR FULMER AND THE VOLUNTEERS

A Knox County judge refused to reduce the aggrevated assault charges against Tennessee defensive tackle Tony McDaniel, which stem from a pick-up basketball game fight, from a felony to a misdemeanor in a hearing earlier today. For those of you familiar with major college football run-ins with the law, that is the magic level at which a team usually suspends a player or pulls a scholarship altogether. For Fulmer and the Vols this represents another hit in a string of problems as 11 members of the Volunteer Football team have been cited or arrested for crimes (of the misdemeanor and felony variety) since February 2004.

Do I look like I tolerate this kind of behavior?
