The "they're beneath us" play
As a man involved in the guerilla warfare that is Iron Bowl I have to applaud this quote on all levels.
He insults their team, their town, and their fan base in a comment that is delivered flippantly but is in reality volley of hate – basically delegating them to a meaningless game on the schedule.
Essentially “Your own fans don’t even like it there.”
