My CFB Picks Week 5

Welcome back to my picks, on this beautiful Thursday. There are a lot of favorites I want to take and overs I want to hammer! Maybe couple of underdogs and unders. We shall see. Week 4 was a bit rough but managed to obtain a 66% win percentage, puts me at 62% for the season. Still winning more than I'm losing that's the goal! We are moving forward to Week 5 together, let's get after it!

Before I continue, I am degenerate, but this is the first time posting my picks anywhere. So, I'm a newb when it comes to this, but in terms of betting I'm not a newb. I'm not a shark or a pro either, I'm just a regular guy betting the money I have behind my desk at work, working a nine to five job. I don't lie about my picks ever. I bet all that I post, except for picks I ponder which I may or may not take. But, I give all the picks I bet, I don't post which ones that I pondered for Thursday to Saturday. I post my results Sunday or Monday. I bet a lot, so I will post over 12 most of the time guaranteed, unless I'm truly uncomfortable about that week of games.

With that being said.... Let's get after it!

Week 5 Picks

Memphis (-14) @ Tulane

Tulane stinks. Memphis I think will cover or go over, I can see a cover easily here.

UCLA @ Colorado (-10)

I'm riding Colorado until I see a game I don't like, and this game I like a lot here. UCLA and Jim Kelly stinks right now. Both are coming off bye weeks. Can UCLA adjust to the altitude, nah! Buffaloes for sure they are rolling.

ULL @ Alabama (-49)

Didn't matter what the line was, I was jumping on Bama from the start. Best team in the country is going to put up a $#!+ ton of points!

West Virginia (-4) @ Texas Tech

Wish I had this at -3/3.5, but I do think Mountaineers do come out on top in a high scoring game.

Oklahoma St (-18.5) @ Kansas

Bounce back game, Jayhawks aren't ready at all. Cowboys are going to roll.

Florida St @ Louisville (+6)

Seminoles stink, until they prove me wrong I'm going to continue to fade them each week. L'ville is at home, I don't see them losing. Both teams stink, which one is worse?

Southern Miss @ Auburn (-27.5)

Auburn is crushing again after the LSU loss, I don't see this game being any different.

Virginia Tech @ Duke (-5.5)

You think VT is going to beat Duke after losing to OD? Didn't think so, Blue Devils all the way.

Louisiana Tech @ North Texas (-7.5)

North Texas has been hot, not going to fade them now, Tech put numbers vs LSU. I think NT has a slightly better offense.

These bets I made Tuesday night and Wednesday in no particular order.

Boise St (-17) @ Wyoming

Boise had a bye after a loss against Okie St. Seeking vengeance against the other Cowboys. Minus that game against Okie St, Boise has been rolling and had time to recover. Wyoming has little chance, but really doesn't stand a chance. Broncos way over 17.

Tennessee @ Georgia (-31.5)

Georgia covered for me last week away at Mizz, but Tennessee at home after getting beatdown by Florida at home. I don't see this game being any different. Hopefully Georgia will show up like they did against South Carolina and not turn the ball over like against Missouri. Dawgs go all the way Saturday.

Michigan (-14) @ Northwestern

Ever since Michigan lost to ND they've been hot. Northwestern isn't good, but not easy for any away team playing them at home. But, 14 is easily manageable for Michigan.

South Carolina @ Kentucky (-1)

Wildcats are hot right now, I'm riding them until this is over. That's my only reasoning haha. Ride the hot team until you can't.

West Virginia @ Texas Tech (Over 77)

After Texas Tech and Oklahoma St let me down next week, I'm still going with the over here. Both high powered offense, WV defense will be tested here. I see this game being similar to OSU and PSU below.

Stanford @ Notre Dame (Under 54)

No other way to explain this, but pure defensive game on prime time. Wouldn't shock me if it was similar to Iowa St and Iowa earlier this year. If anything I can See 21-20 game at the least.

Ohio St @ Penn St (Over 70.5)

Now the Immoral Rivalry Game? Or which school is more worse than the other? Sorry not sorry, people won't forget. Where's the defense? Not going to be any, not going to be the 40+ points like last year. Don't see that. Both have good offenses. I really like the over!

Oregon @ Cal (Over 58.5)

Surprised how low this is, Oregon loves to score and Cal has to put up points. However, close low scoring game Cal wins. Oregon will need to put up points, and Cal does too, to stick with them. Oregon coming off a heartbreaking loss going away, don't see why they won't put up the points.

Bad Bets, But Let's Role!

This is a new section. These are bets I made, that I'm not sure what I was thinking when I made them, possibly drinking at them time. However, I made them, because I had to have some reasoning behind them. I'm all in so let's do this!

Syracuse (+23) @ Clemson

Pretty sure I like the Orange in this one way more than I did Clemson, I think they may be a tad overrated, but best in their conference for sure. I think I saw this like the Texas A&M vs Bama game. Spread was way too big for my liking to take Bama and I was right. I'm going with that. However, I did like Trevor Lawerence from Clemson, he will be making his first start and could have a gigantic day! Peace out Bryant! Don't sleep on Clemson though.

Pittsburgh @ UCF (-14)

UCF is hot right now, Pitt puts up points. I would love this game more if UCF was at 7. Maybe gambling brain was like can't steer from UCF yet, keep rolling on them. I have no idea what I was thinking. We'll see Saturday. Not thrilled, but not, not thrilled either. SO LET'S GO!

Hawaii (-13) @ San Jose St

Hmmm, Hawaii roles? Not sure my reasoning behind this. Maybe fade me? Haha, we win some and lose some. Moving on.

Utah @ Washington St (+1)

I do like Washington St here, this Utah team is not the same in the past and Washington St has all the offensive power to score, meanwhile Utah doesn't have an offense. I like them here.

Toledo @ Fresno St (-8)

Not sure why I like Fresno here, maybe Toledo has to travel to Pacific time and Fresno is low key tough at home? No idea, wish this was 6.5 anything over 7 might've been bad for me. This may pay off.

Old Dominion @ East Carolina (Over 62)

I think I was just hoping/thinking this will be a basketball score. Not sure why I took this, but I don't hate this bet. Could be bad. I'm all in, thanks drunk me!

Bet's I'm Going To Ponder Come Thursday/Saturday

These are bets I have thought about and will think about during the week, until Thursday to Saturday. I may or may not bet them. However, I will ponder/think about them hard during the days of the games, if I want to make that bet or not.

UNC @ Miami (-18)

UCLA @ Colorado (Over/Under 60.5)

UMass (+13.5) @ Ohio

UMass @ Ohio (Over/Under 69.5)
