DAY TWO OF THE EDSBS CHARITY BOWL IS HERE. And with that, the totals as they stood as of sometime early this morning.

1. Michigan decided to take a first quarter lead. If this were the Lloyd Carr era that'd be dangerous, because they'd just slow down and go to sleep for three quarters. This is the Harbaugh era, though, which means blood and thunder and pitiless campaigning till the final brutal seconds tick off the clock. No complaints about that here. Look at that donor number: fifty-fuckin'-three.

2. Texas made its usual strong showing, because this is something involving money and Texans like to remind you that they have a lot of it.

3. A STRONG SHOWING BY BAMA. Not quite a championship level amount of money, sure, but it is a year ending with an even number and that's to be expected.

4. While it's not in this morning's totals, this happened this a.m.

We got so excited about this we threw three personal foul flags at the screen in celebration. THANK []_[].

Overall the total moved just past $15K this morning, which is a good chunk of the $40,000 we hope to raise. Oh, and we're still taking suggestions for what to do in honor of the winning school if the total somehow gets over $40K. Shirtless rollerblading across Michigan's campus with Jim Harbaugh is NOT out of the question. (Seriously, Harbaugh'd be an easier sell on it than we would in all likelihood.)
