THE FINEBAUM OPEN THREAD AFTER BOTH ALABAMA TEAMS LOSE

ROLL OF TIDEFAIL, HEAR THEIR CRY

Everyone in Alabama lost everything this weekend. This is the Finebaum open thread for the afternoon, which is a treasured EDSBS tradition on days after everyone in Alabama suffers a huge loss. Which they did. Did you see that Alabama lost to Ole Miss at home? They lost to Ole Miss at home for the just the second time in 28 meetings in Bryant-Denny Stadium. They lost, and Lane Kiffin did everything but pound Derrick Henry between the tackles, and the Alabama defense couldn't prevent a pass-first offense from just lobbing the ball up to tall receivers, could they?

Did you see that Alabama lost? They lost a football game, 43-37, and won't get to play that team again for an entire year.

This is the link to the Finebaum show, where someone has already compared Will Muschamp to cancer, and another caller has called for Kirby Smart to replace Nick Saban. You know what to do: listen aghast with your ear to the speaker of your giant wood-encased radio, as our ancestors and their ancestors before did.
