OPEN THREAD, THIRD SHIFT

We probably should have learned our lesson last year, when we declared the Buckeyes dead after losing Braxton Miller right before the season, and then dead again when they lost J.T. Barrett right before the Big Ten Championship. Our insistence that Ohio State couldn't advance over teams we were sure were better was proven entirely wrong. Certainty became the egg smashed on our collective faces.

And it's happening again this season, but with a team even more of us really, really don't want to root for.

Notre Dame's going to march all the way to a national title, and there isn't a single thing we can do to stop it. Accept it now, and do what you can to comfort your children. There is no other future for us.
