THE CURIOUS INDEX PETS A COLLIE AND SAYS IT'LL BE ALRIGHT

HOW THE AGGIES MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE PROBLEMS, AND ALSO AUBURN IGNORE MONSTER TRUCK PARKING

WOULD SOMEONE LIKE TO PLEASE ANNOUNCE THE INTENT TO PLAY QUARTERBACK FOR TEXAS A&M IN 2016. Kyler Murray is probably going to be playing baseball next year, a move we applaud because baseball is easier on the body, more lucrative, and does not involve 300 pound men diving at your knees and brain. This may or many not constitute the beginning of a real crisis at A&M regarding their declining offensive numbers since Manziel departed, the inability of Kevin Sumlin to replace key staffers (especially on the offensive side of the ball), and the general and persistent sense that everyone in the state of Texas has caught up to A&M and perhaps passed them.

Or: it may just be a quarterbacks doing what QBs do, which is often transfer, weigh multiple career options, and jockey for playing time.

BYU REMAINS ON MISSION. With Niumatololo staying at Navy, BYU moves on to Oregon DC Kalani Sitake to be their next head coach.

WELLLLLLLL THAT KIND OF IS THE REPUTATION. You can get mad at this, or you can just nod politely while thinking "yeah, that kind of is BYU's rep, which is not a bad thing for a football team to have because football is a very dirty and physical sport."

IT'D BE NICE TO HAVE A RUN GAME, YES. Ole Miss, if you did not notice these things, is on an otherworldly recruiting tear. Yesterday that run extended to Greg Little committing to Ole Miss, providing the Rebels with a hypothetical replacement for Laremy Tunsil at tackle, and prepping the Rebels for another brilliant season where they somehow beat Alabama, Auburn, and LSU, but somehow lose to Arkansas on a fluky play that takes five years off the lives of everyone who witnesses it.

"I JUST HIRED HIM." Nick Saban's hiring methods are soooooooo complex. Then again, when the SEC is stocked with your assistants, you basically are your own search firm.

THIS IS MORE BULLSHIT, AUBURN. All those new plans for wraparound concourses, and not one mention of Monster Truck Parking.
