The co-creator of the Choose Your Own Adventure series passed away recently, and as tempting as it may be to joke about how he should have gone to page 87 instead of page 34, I'd just like to thank Montgomery for his works. CYOA isn't the most important material from a literary perspective, but they're enormously accessible and lighthearted, and I remember that meaning a lot for other kids who saw reading as a chore.
