I am alive. Thanks for asking.
I was on the Northwest side of Oklahoma City yesterday as the storm came in from the Southwest. There's something distinctly unsettling about having the temperature go from muggy and hot to windy and cold in a matter of minutes and then looking up to see a wall cloud bearing down on a highly populated portion of a city. Also, I was on the golf course at the time, so basically the priest scene in Caddyshack with fewer birdie putts made.
Needless to say, its a disaster and a good many people need help. $10 donations can be immediately made to one of the following in the following ways:
Text STORM to 80888 for The Salvation Army USA.
Text REDCROSS to 90999 $10 donations, or
FOOD to 32333 for Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
The EDSBS Weather Center and Oklahoma thanks you in advance.
