Letter to EDSBS from Evan Kilborn

Dear Commentators of EDSBS,

I would like to introduce myself. I am Evan Kilborn, younger brother of Tommy Kilborn, who some of you may remember as a guest columnist at EDSBS. Like Tommy and our father before us, I soon will enroll at the one, the only, Notre Dame. It is my destiny, even though I was wait-listed by the admissions people- J/K ROTFL, dad would never let that happen. I am enrolling later this summer where I will begin my quest to support the Irish in their run to a national title or three.

The picture above (I'm the stud on the left, ladies) is from my early bird orientation at the University of Notre Dame - i.e. the greatest day of my life. I posed with my future roommates to commemorate our impending college life. Watch-out ladies of the University of Notre Dame, there's another Kilborn coming!

Like my favorite gangster rapper JAYZ says "He who does not feel me is not real to me, therefore he does not exist. So, poof... vamoose, son of a bitch." LOL. What a brilliant man. Tommy generally disapproves of hiphop music, but I just can't say 'no' to the greatest musician ever. JAYZ isn't some degenerate like SnoopDog - did you know that SnoopDog openly supports the University of Southern California? He probably uses illegal drugs also.

Tommy and I may disagree on music, but one thing we definitely agree on is the greatness of the University of Notre Dame. This year the University of Notre Dame's Manti Te'o will be a front-runner for the Heisman trophy because he is the best linebacker in the country. I know what you are thinking...... when did a defensive player last win the heisman? The answer is that I don't know, but I do that Charles Woodson won it while a player at Michigan. MICHIGAN. Everybody knows the University of Notre Dame is better than Michigan so I don't see any reason why Te'o won't win the award this year.

Oh, and another thing- OMG I LOVE Brian Kelly. A good catholic man from Massachusetts. I can't lie to you folks - I see a lot of Knute Rockne in him. I heard that Urban Meyer is really regretful for not accepting the job at the University of Notre Dame a few years ago. IMO, honestly, it serves him right IYAM. Us golden-domers can't live in the past though; we will just have to enjoy our national championships with Brian Kelly.

I can't wait until 9/3/11 when we host USF. I don't know if you guys know this, but USF is coached by Skip Holtz, son of former University of Notre Dame coach the great Lou Holtz. It will be tough to beat up on a team coached by family of Notre Dame, but the Holtzs will understand. LOL. But seriously, heck, Skip may not even mind - he knows that Notre Dame's rise back to the pinnacle is unstoppable. Also, deep down, Skip probably loves Notre Dame like the rest of us.

Evan Kilborn

PS: I am alreay plotting how I will score Kyle Rudolph on my fantasy football team next year. If I can get him and Jimmy Clausen (who is due for a major comeback this year, trust me!), I will be unstoppable.
