EDSBS NHL Stanley Cup Playoff Random Number Generator Challenge 2016

It's that time of year again, hockey fans.. the Stanley Cup Playoffs are upon us! And in addition to that, it means it's back to making your picks in the NHL.com Bracket Challenge, or as we like to call it, the EDSBS Random Number Generator Challenge. The rules are pretty simple. You make your picks prior to the start of the playoffs Wednesday night in a fashion similar to filling out your March Madness bracket. You also select the number of games each first round matchup will go. You'll also just fill out some Stanley Cup Final tiebreakers at the end. Points are dished out round-by-round, increasing with each round. The brackets won't go live until the Ducks and Islanders figure out who they're playing with some blizzard makeup games tonight, but afterwards you'll be all set. So here's the details:

The deadline for all this is 7 pm on Wednesday before the pucks drop on the playoffs and NBC lights MUPS again or something. If you've picked a Canadian team to win, you've already lost. Happy picking, unless you'd rather hear how the 1996 Bulls would totally sweep the Warriors, Spurs, and an all-star team of this year's NBA top players all in a row. For that... somebody's gotta be doing an NBA bracket thing, right? Cause that might be fun too. Regardless, enjoy the hockey!

Also, if you wanted to join saxattack29's Fantasy Playoff Hockey group that's improved from last year's format, give him a buzz as well. He'll gladly shoot you an e-mail with all the details.
