T minus 9 days.....As we wind down the offseason, we turn to getting back into the tailgating/gameday routine of getting our livers back into some sort of football condition.

This will be a simple format that usually evolves into some deep discussions til we peak out the comments. What I have found is that the EDSBS commentariat is very deep of its knowledge of certain beers. So I'll start with some simple questions about how I delve off into the season with my favorites for this season, and what I have discovered, and hopefully I can get some tips of what and where to go when I follow my team to away games this year.

1. What is your old reliable beer? By that, what is the beer you drink by default during games, or do you change your beer choice by activity?(fishing, golf, tailgating,etc) My answer is Michelob Ultra....when I'm on the water fishing its Bud Lite Lime---dont ask me why...

2. What beer have you discovered, or stumbled upon, this year, that may or may not be popular or even widely known that could be best described as "the best beer no one have ever heard of"?...This could be something you found travelling, or just a "craft" beer or local brewery in any location around the world....Mine is called Leviathon, is a high gravity beer I found on tap in New Orleans....cant find it anywhere in Alabama or Florida yet...also, you can throw stuff at me for saying this out loud---"Lime-O-Rita"....

3. Name a beer that you dont drink anymore that reminds you of high school or college that you were forced to drink because of lack of budget, and what beer did you step up to when you could afford it....Mine was Keystone Light or Red Dog...I was broke as hell back in the day....If I feel the need, I love Sweetwater 420......

4. What is your favorite IPA/High gravity/Craft Beer?

5. What is your favorite beer from another country? This is a loaded question, I was in the Navy and I enjoyed the hell out of San Miguel and Brahma beer from Brazil...Never got to Germany...

6. Traveling question: What beers are good in Dallas,Tx and in Missouri? What beer have you found in another state that you would actually consider driving back to smuggle back to your homebase?

7. If there were a "beer playoff", who would you put in your top 4? 1.Bud Light 2. Yueling 3. Sweetwater 420 4. Abita Amber
