NCAAF Remake of a NES Classic

So it looks like I'm going to be spending about 2/3 of the upcoming football season on the road stuck in training. That means lots of downtime. Per my engineering background, that means I'll likely be doing neckbearded-type stuff. One of the projects I started a while back was remaking a ROM of the1987 8-bit Nintendo classic "Mike Tyson's Punch Out!" into a college-football themed boxing title. I've already gotten started on a couple of the fighters.

Here's what we've got so far:

Drlou2_medium

Easy enough. The toupee-looking hair & sunken eyes make this one easy.

Wanny_medium

The most obvious of the bunch.

I can make lots of text changes, and some graphical mods as well. I'm currently leaning toward using Charlie Weis for King Hippo, and Steve Spurrier as Don Flamenco (I'll add the visor; the image of him prancing around the ring before the fight should be worth the trouble alone).

Now I need suggestions for the rest. That means both the characters and the names of the circuits (originally "Minor", "Major", and "World". Be aware I'm limited to 5 characters for each circuit name. After I finish I'll post a link to an online, playable version.

Go.
