EDSBS is located in Atlanta Georgia. A majority of College Football in week 1 will be played in...Atlanta, Georgia. Serendipity, thy name is week 1. It's time for EDSBS: The Weekend.

Casually looking at the schedule in Atlanta week 1 will be:

South Carolina State fans (for SC st at Georgia State 8/30 at the Georgia Dome)

Tennessee Vol fans

NC State fans (Tennessee vs NC State 8/31 at the Georgia Dome)

Clemson fans

Auburn fans (Clemson vs Auburn 9/1 at the Georgia Dome)

Ga Tech has a labor day game so they might still be in Atlanta for the weekend

Georgia has a home game and the survivors of the off-season will take on my

Buffalo Bulls and our fans.

By my count that puts 7 FBS fan bases, and 2 FCS fanbases in Atlanta for opening weekend.

Doing the math, 7/125= .056 which means 6% of all FBS College Football fans will be in Atlanta for opening weekend.

To commemorate this gathering, we should organize some kind of mass celebration that combines alcohol, food, and college football. Preliminary Ideas:

1) EDSBS Scavenger hunt:

Fanbases scour Metro Atlanta for predetermined items hidden throughout the city.

2) ShutdownFullback LIVE:

Shutdown Fullback gets back to it's roots, live theater, in a fun filled outdoor performance with audience participation.

3) EDSBS OpenThread LIVE:

One of the 1200 lawyers of the commentariat files the permits and rents a giant tent with a projector screen; hundreds of fans drink and shout out clever things!
