For this resting period of football, Coach Leach rather not sit back and relax during summer break. He goes on a safari into the Canadian wilderness to find the most aggressive and violent predatory animal, the black bear. This is no Elmer Fudd trip as risks are potentially high if conditions are not right, but for Coach Mike Leach, conditions were right.
