Have you noticed that all conference realignment threads read alike...

...Everybody is just so happy to be moving up in the world. 80-90% of the fans of the school that's moved can't stand the old conference/former conference mates and make rude and insulting comments about them. The other 10-20% wistfully comment about losing rivals/roadtrips and wishing we could all go back to 1979 or so. Fans from the schools new conference mates then chime in, welcoming the newbie and looking forward to visiting the new school (or having the new school come visit them). It's the last time that they'll be that nice - especially if the newbie beats up on the old members. Finally a few trolls from the old conference rivals show up and poop on the floor, piss everybody off and generally make a nuisance of themselves.

It's especially funny to read the West Virginia threads after having read the Missouri threads - how could the Big XII-I-I-I-I+I+I go from being a shithole to the Ritz-Carlton - the answer of course is perspective.
