PrintAs if you probably couldn't guess by the fact that I went to Mizzou and some information in my profile, I'm a journalist. And like most journalists, I'm unemployed. But there is a chance to change that--and the most important thing is, YOU CAN HELP ME ACCOMPLISH THIS.
So, essentially: KMOX radio here in St Louis is running a contest, where 10 people from hundreds who auditioned are up for the chance to serve as a reporter live from spring training in Jupiter, FL. (Yes, yes, I know, it's stickyball, but still.) While it isn't paid or a full-time gig, it's one of those things that opens doors and can be a gateway to an even bigger gig. However, in order to get this, I need to win a poll. So go to this fine webpage, where you can vote an unlimited amount of times per day, or text "KMOX 1" to the number 881120. Just remember YOUR FELLOW COMMENTOR NEEDS YOU!

I'm not saying anything specific...
Let’s just say almost a quarter of Tim Tebow’s pro bowl fan votes came from a single person. Sadly, this epic troll failed in their quest.
Anyway, this contest isn’t QUITE unlimited. It seems to have a “cooling off” period if you try and flood them.
On a COMPLETELY UNRELATED NOTE (wink wink), to save in the labor or having to fill out a given web form multiple times, check out the Firefox extension “iMacros”. You can record filling it out once, and then play that back in a loop. If you’re good, you can tweak the recorded macro to REALLY stuff a ballot box. But, in the case of a limited box, you probably want it on slow to minimize the chance of getting a cool down. :-(

Already voted a few hundred times, now that I’m off cooldown… Not bad for a cooldown avoidance, but nowhere near the epic levels you can get if it’s all javascript on a single page with no cooldowns…. Oh lord, I’ve cranked out hundreds of thousands of votes a day on some ballots…
