Around SBN: How The Kings Beat The Coyotes: Lather, Rinse, Repeat

They've got fullbacks that want to block your soul.

Texas defensive coordinator Manny Diaz, very emphatically emphasizing the work BYU's fullbacks put in week after week. They do want to block your soul, Coach Diaz. It is true. They also want to save it, and if you're down for it possibly invite you over just to meet the kids, hang out, maybe do some grilling. No pressure. Seriously, we're really nice unless we're running power jet fake Ace Around Iso 32.

I don't know if it is or not, but contrary to popular opinion

Caffeine is not forbidden in the LDS Chruch

It shouldn't, but I'm sure it's different in the west.

Generally speaking, LDS wards in Utah (especially Provo-Ogden), Arizona, Idaho etc are going to be more orthodox than ones in the east. I’ve never attended services outside the US, so I wouldn’t know, but if people in Singapore are teaching that caffeine is against the Word of Wisdom, they’re incorrect.

The church position says you can’t have booze, cigs, drugs, coffee or tea, but they’re refused to say caffeine is a no-no, whether that be in headache meds, chocolate, or mountain dew (only to say that you prob shouldn’t have mountain dew because it isn’t good for you, but because Jesus doesn’t like it)

by Matt.Brown on Sep 7, 2011 3:17 PM EDT up reply actions

As pretty much everybody says about everybody else in the remote enclaves of Alaska ( any group at all)

there’s a reason they’re up here and not down there.

No

You’re not supposed to rely on substances to keep you going or become addicted ot anything.

If a Doctor prescribed caffeine for you, it would be tottally cool. Basically, we’re told to be smart an not be hard on our bodies. The whole word of wisdom also says don’t overeat meat.
