If there's one thing we've proven since the offseason started driving comment totals into the thousands, it's this: we are some smart freakin' lawyaz up in this trick.  And the topic of trivia has come up.  And I know damn well that a bunch of you are sitting there thinking "I could clown every last one of y'all in trivia."

All right, prove it.

The Spider Closet - The EDSBS Monthly Trivia Challenge is now live.  It works like this:

1) Go here and sign up.

2) Contest runs daily Monday-Friday.  The questions are general knowledge, and they get progressively difficult throughout the week (Friday has the hardest question pool the FunTrivia site offers in general knowledge).

3) You're scored out of 10, with a bonus for speedy completion.  Note that you will get more points for going 10/10 in 90 seconds than you will for going 9/10 in 30 seconds.  (Yes, it is possible to finish in under 30 seconds with the right combination of bandwidth, screen size, and reading comprehension.)

4) Not everyone will get all the same identical questions every day.  Sorry, but there's no other way to keep it honest.  I have played here before and it tends to even out over the course of the month (and statistics are kept monthly).

5) All I did was register the thing and post the link - I don't do anything in terms of actual question selection and cannot correct errors (as I am sure somebody will find one of the answers to be incorrect at some point).  If you have a beef, take it up with the site operators themselves.
