I took the time to break down the list of the total donations for the 2011 EDSBS charity drive for Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta. Why do this, you may ask? Well, it is the off-season and we need something to brag about and, really, the spring games are pretty worthless and only crazed college football fans can find humor and competitiveness in a charity donation drive. I love us.
FYI, the total amount I tallied up is differed from Spencer's by $520. We'll assume his $25,547 is correct. Also, the conferences and divisions are that of the upcoming 2011 season, because it's never early to start hating your new Nebraskas and Colorados (ooops, those skiing hippies didn't even make a donation: hating confirmed)Slow clap for the little guys:
- James Madison is the top non-BCS school at #8 with $710, again crushing Va Tech who donated $125.81
- Others to join in on the fun: Case Western, NYU, Kennessaw State, Cal State, Georgetown, Grove City College, Fordham, Rhodes, Wofford, Davidson. These schools donated over a combined $600
Updated: Rogue OSU donation of $42.39 has been unofficially tallied to Ohio State (for this chart's purpose, not official unless Fearless Leader says so).
