It's that time again.  The time of tribulation or triumph. But for certain, it is the time of tailgating.  On Saturday, the commentariat will scatter to the four winds, taking over parking lots and stadia (screw you, Strunk and White!) across America.  But despite of our relative anonymity,sometimes gathering together can be fun.  Perhaps you want someone to try the roux you made.  Perhaps you want to share a bottle of scotch.  Or perhaps you want to drink your enemy's tears after the Tigers beat the Tigers on Saturday.  This rendezvous thread facilitates such worthy endeavours.  Take me, for example.  On Saturday, I will be up at 7, at the tailgate lots by eight, sipping mimosas and peddling T shirts.  My high school friend arrives at noon, at which point I will steer her through ten tailgates and hope she survives.  Then: on to Bond Hall, the Dome, and finally Notre Dame Stadium!
