Longest drive to end in a field goal?
Watching Minnesota v Middle Tennessee (I know several Gopher fans and couldn't quite believe that their team was as bad as they keep telling me), and the Gophers just pulled out a magnificent 96-yard drive. Unfortunately, they started the drive on their 1-yard line, and so it ended with a field goal.
Is this a record or can anyone beat it with a 97 or 98-yard drive for a field goal?

Navy 2004 Emerald Bowl
I had to go back and check. Navy’s final field goal drive started taking over on downs at the 1…but it was ONLY 94 yards.
The triple option did eat up 14:26 of game clock on that one though.
Thats impressive
I love watching the triple option
