Question: What happens if U$C wins the Pac-10?
Inquiring minds want to know, especially since this one's heard everything from the runner up goes BCS bowling, to the potential for there to be no PAC-10 representative this time around. Anyone know the truth?
After all, just how fucking AWESOME would it be if, after all the screwing around with the BCS system that's been done over the past eleventy-billion years, one of the headlining schools ended up icing the PAC-10 in the worst place possible?

This one's easy
There will be no “runner-up” in the event USC has the best conference record. USC is ineligible for the title, thus the #2 team will be named Pac-10 champs. The BCS, and specifically the Rose Bowl, is contractually obligated to select the Pac-10 champs. As the Rose Bowl is also obligated this year, in the event that either the Pac-10 or Big 10 rep plays in the BCS title game, to invite (if eligible) a team from a non-automatic qualifying conference.
Thus, it could be the worst Rose Bowl ever that doesn’t involve Illinois.

I think of it this way
the winner of the pac-10 is the eligible team with the best record. Thus the whole title was irrelevent, USC cant win the Pac-10, even if they go 9-0.
Conference homers are the lowest form of fandom. That is why the SEC has so many of them.
Having watched the USC-Hawaii game
I don’t think we need to worry about that, unless USC finds a defense in the next three weeks.
Hawaii was always going to score points on USC
A run and shoot going against a Tampa 2 defense isn’t going to result in a low scoring game. I was very disappointed to see Hawaii’s offense get stronger as the game went on though.
However I’m very glad that USC faces Virginia and Minnesota in the next two weeks rather than Oregon and OSU. USC has a lot of things to work out defensively, but they have the time to do so.
Los Angeles is like Manchester. There is a red team that wins championships and a blue team that doesn't.
Not a very good question
More of a troll question, actually.
If USC wins (which is a huge IF, given that the team looks very young and inexperienced), whoever finishes second in the standings is the de facto winner and takes the BCS berth.
And “U$C” is tired, find an original insult that’s less than 50 years old
