Around SBN: Lakers Should Trade Andrew Bynum So He Doesn't Go To Waste

INTERNET: EXPECT DELAYS. Young Magnus Warhammer is being taken to the vet by Fearless Leader to have his fangs filed down (it does put a damper on playdates when they grow past his chin). Your irregularly scheduled installment of Spicy Livin' will be along this afternoon. In the meantime, please post no bills on this magnificent creature.

Besides the visit to the vet

it probably doesn’t help that there is a full slate of World Cup games being played today.

So, OK, there's a WC match at 10A and one at 2P

BTW, congrats on the CWS thing.

thanks

yeah, it was a little humiliating when they were going over the 106 national championships UCLA had won to Carolina’s 1 NCAA sanctioned title for women’s track (our two equestrian titles don’t count)

And the announcing was horrible… it was from the perspective of “zOMG the mighty UCLA team is losing” and not “The Gamecocks are winning”

My father and I completely agree...

we discussed it many times that the announcers sounded perplexed that the Gamecocks were winning and they couldn’t figure out how to talk about it. My dad said that the announcers always came across as if they thought all the Carolina players were country bumpkins who somehow had figured out against all odds how to play baseball.

Also noticed that when UF played UCLA in the first game that they spent the entire game talking about the UCLA pitcher…and his zOMG! REALLY FADED HAT!!

Congrats on making the SEC proud…was happy to hear your player mention the tough SEC in his post-game interview!

Truly electric atmosphere...

…I was bummed out that UCLA lost in the finals (would’ve won $70 bucks) but that last game was definitely thrilling at the end and a great way to send “The ’Blatt” off into the sunset. Plus I believe you guys deserved it more being two time runners up and all. And the fact that half of Columbia show up for the final game.

Another good reason to have Magnus's fangs filed:

braces for 12-inch canines of death ain’t cheap.

That’s a whole lot of barely repressed rage there. I hope she seeks some professional counseling.

Stoicism

Fearless Leader: I understand young Magnus must be shaved daily and that childcare in general is time-consuming. I also understand that it’s easy to become complacent when you are self-employed, it’s a Friday afternoon outside of football season, no one is prodding you with menacing motivational language and the 360 is only on the other side of the room. But at some point, you will need to buck up and find deep within yourself the drive and yearning that propelled mankind to conquer the elements and improve our collective lot in life. Life’s too short to allow lingering hangovers, general malaise and mindless distractions lessen the best product of our God-given talents. The frequent absence and inconsistency of the 2010 Viking is out of control. If you are to run a blog, you have to work at it-for us: the comrades of the EDSBS Republic. Pray tell, with what else do you propose we do for an otherwise fair Friday afternoons?

I'd volunteer for child care duty to help out

but I’m ascairt that my lily-white hands might not be able to handle the toxicity of a Warhammer doodie.
