Around SBN: Kentucky Football: Tee Martin Reportedly Leaving for USC

Per George Schroeder, who was in the courtroom for the six minute hearing for LaMichael James. James gets eight more days in jail atop the two he's already served, and will have to serve 24 months probation. Part one of the Oregon Ducks Legal Espectacular Sponsored by Gary Martin Hays (Se Habla Espanol) is over; Chip Kelly's announcement regarding quarterback Jeremiah Masoli will come later this afternoon.

This being Oregon, what with all the "La's" on the roster,

Shouldn’t it be L’spectaculaire?

I'm Irish. I'm going to have to deal with something being wrong the rest of my life.

How much more LeGal trouble can Oregon stand?

…I’ll show myself out.

Here's the sentencing memo if you want to know what really happened . . .

I have to admit, I might have done the same thing if put in James’ situation. Seems he’s paid more than enough for his actions to me.

Totally unfair

There wasn’t anything funny about that and the facts of the case made me accidentally feel sympathy for LaJames.

I demand you delete this!

RE: Sentencing Memo

I read the memo — and it is difficult to understand why he is doing 10 days of jail time. He removed someone from the entrance to his house, pushed someone who broke his necklace, removed someone (who had stolen his keys) from the inside of his car, and pulled that person to the ground while attempting to recover the keys.

I truly do not care about that player or that team, but given the “victim” apparently suffered no injuries — and the defendent had no intention to harm her — he should not do jail time.
