Your Fearless Leaders and their tentacly corporate overlords are about midway through moving this here pony show to its comfy new SBN circus tent. If you've ever attempted to move anything via The Internet, you can guess about how seamlessly the transition will go. Things may load funny for a couple days. Your favorite Mike Leach gifs may blinker in and out of existence. We assure you two things: first, that we are quite aware ourselves that Things Are Happening; second, that the new toys we all have waiting at the end of the tunnel are going to be more than worth it. Thank you for your continued patronage, and please let something horrible happen to Kenny Chesney, amen.

because if that’s going to be the case, I’m totally cutting my visits to EDSBS down to 20 or 30 times each day.

Suggestion Box Dept:

At the new place, how about bringing back “Bunda Fridays”? OS, that way, you can tell the “Man” that EDSBS will maintain some semblance of uniqueness and not go totally corporate. It is a long shot, but what the heck.

PUHHLEAASE Footbaw Jebus I pray that this move to SBN does not result in EDSBS being suddenly blocked by the despicable corporate web filter!! The thought of reallocating my time spent here to actual work is making me feel funny in my pants, and not in a good way.

Common sense would normally dictate that this will be the end since almost all other SBN content is blocked, but this is also the web filter that lets me view fuckyeahbraziliangirls all day, every day so there’s no telling.

I don’t think the folks at SBNation will be censoring EDSBS. They let Black Heart Gold Pants go on its profanity-laden way on a daily basis, God bless them. They also let me tell jokes over at Dawgsports despite the fact that I am glaringly and consistently not funny.*

All of which means that, yeah, they may not be asleep at the wheel, but they are steering while holding a Budweiser between their knees, which is good enough for me.

Oh, and General Disarray’s workplace has clearly been taken over by some sort of techno-fascist regime that digs Brazilian women. That’s the only logical explanation.

*I also grossly overuse italics and footnotes, but SBNation is probably going to show up and kick my ass for that one. Even sports blog networks have some standards.

i think I might be in the same boat as General Disarray. I have yet to figure out the IT depts method of blocking sites. SBN is block, but not the sporting blog, yet I can access BHGP just fine. And then sometimes they’ll fuck with you, let you access anysite in the world but the next day, BOOM, simple shit like CNN and ESPN is not allowed.
