This rips my soul in two. On one hand, TN can catch AIDS. Its that puke inside of a pumpkin orange, and I’m not a dog person. Kiffykins is a fucking prick with a resume limited to moral victories and the genetic lottery. But, the court jester is gone and, as much as it stings to admit, I’m going to miss the little bastard.
I’m convinced that the only remedy is the Dread Pirate Leach sailing into Knoxville. Someone has to entertain us in the offseason. Yar.

@6 – if he does for USC what he did for the Raiders and Vols, I’d say buy your Rose Bowl tickets now. Seven NCAA referrals and a felony in less than a calendar year? Especially when the felony involves a getaway Prius? And now that the NCAA is breathing down the neck of the Trojans?

Turns out Urban’s actually human (actually hope he comes back, need a good rival). Now the Vols losing their one-year coach to the mighty, but possibly soon to be crippled Trojans is icing on the cake. I just don’t understand. With the NCAA looming, the job would still be available once the smoke clears and the replacement muddles through for a few years. Al Davis was right. Amazing. Screwing over a pro-team is one thing, this guy doesn’t seem to understand that he just screwed over all his players and recruits, not to mention a program that gave him a shot when he’s demonstrated no consistent ability to win or build a program. Zero. There’s hundreds of assistant coaches who have toiled away for peanuts without the right last name and would never completely shit on the sport the way this guy has.
Oh, and I believe Orson just beat his bet about having to eat cheese by a whole 2 years. Congrats to your intestines, O!

(makes note – get Texas to pay Will $100k bonus to take his name out of the running). Butch Davis? Throwing his name in wll get him an extension from the silly bluebloods.

Here’s my thought: Assuming he’s willing to let bygones be bygones – why not restore the Pumpkin King to his rightful throne? He’s rested, ready, and has surely learned a thing or two from his time in exile. Most importantly, he bleeds orange, and UT needs someone to put a little luster back on that logo.

the “trap” is the urban American slang term for an area where drug deals and women of poor morals can be found. Aka the ghetto or the ‘hood’. Hence if someone ‘be trappin’ then they are out working on a corner, if male, generally selling an illegal substance.
In this definition, ‘going ham’ is meant to mean crazy, insane, and/or excited. Basically spazzing out.
So when together, he is implying that the area where drug deals take place is in an excited state of general confusion. Or more succinctly, ‘trap goin ham’

Have a good job and not forced to live in Alabama, Check.
Looks like a great day to be an LSU alumnus!

Hamilton – Dennis Franchione and Mike Price just called to express their appreciation for your commentary. That means they liked it.

I hope everyone is beginning to understand why they should have rooted against Alabama in the NC game.

Boozy@124:
Thanks so much. My mind can rest easier now. It’s funny how just one little thing that a person can’t make sense of can keep buzzing buzzing buzzing back there in the recesses of one’s brain.
I must say that if ever Orson’s atrocious taste in music-type substances was entirely appropriate and came in handy, it was yesterday, when the Knox went ham and shit just got *un*real.

Sorry Alex- mentioning a guy who lost to Lousiana Monroe with Alabama in the same sentence as Urban or Spurrier is a no, no, Saban’s a good coach no doubt but at the moment he’s on the Fulmer level. (Oh, and its going to be funny watching Bama fans get all hyped up before realizing Urban’s going to be on the sidelines and Brantley’s going to make that weak secondary look like swiss cheese.)

Yeah, it ain’t about BAMA (or the Gators). I don’t know how we hide our secondary either.
But where are the TROJAN posters? That’s all I want to know.

At the beach.

There are no Trojan fans now. They are all busy being Laker fans. They’ll find out about Kiffin in September when the season starts up again.

Trojan fans are right here, dizzy with glee at the spittle-flinging indignation, indigestion, fury and HATE being disgorged. My fellow alumni and I, once we came to, decided Kiffen’s hiring fucking ROCKS. (Pardon the caps; I’m still buzzing.) Sure he’s a douche, but he’s our douche, and his utter lack of conscience will serve nicely when he’s throwing deep against ucla when we’re up by 30. Can he coach? Who the hell knows? His old man can and the Big O is to recruiting what Redbreast is to Irish whiskey.
Here’s what we do know: the guy’s a member of the family and he’s a got swagger we like. Could he be a total disaster? Hell yeah. But we’ve seen those before (see: Smith, Hackett et al). Whatever. Bring it, baby, and Fight On.

I am amused by the kiffster’s proving to all what everyone but UT faithful seemed to understand…that the kiffster is to college football what corrupt politicians are to elected positions…just do or say anything to obtain the desired results, or, for you bammer fans, the ends justify the means.
As for the bammers, enjoy…just make sure you clean up before going to bed…here’s a towel, now mop that stuff up before your mother comes home…no, I won’t tell her what you were doing with that thing…honest…
