LIVEBLOG: THE ORANGEBOWL 2010
The final liveblog of the 09-10 season is here. Leave it all on the field, people: we'll be at SBNation.com for the title game, so this is it for complete anarchy bowling with bumpers.
8:00 p.m., or Paul Johnson will hear about it.

I wonder if Ga Tech flew in the fellas to help sabotage Iowa:

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.
That is all. Can Ricky Stanzi actually throw a deep ball? Because you can beat Tech that way.

I think our 2008 secondary from Starksville is masquerading as GT’s tonight. These guys couldn’t cover an ant with a bedspread.

I’ve never seen “Denise” working at Taco Bell.

Ricky Stanzi loves America!
Chris Meyers – "I know you’re from middle america but do you sometimes feel like you are repping more than just a school or a conference…maybe an entire group of american citizens out there?
Ricky – “Nothing better than being american. if you don’t love it, leave it. USA number 1”..

Bleah. That sucked. Yet more proof that Paul Johnson is a football genius, else he wouldn’t have won 11 games with THAT offensive line.

I want the 12 minutes I spent watching that abomination of a game back!
Watching paint dry would have been more interesting.

The highlight of the BCS games so far this year has been Tressel finally getting over in a big game. That should tell you how bad they’ve sucked.

That game sucked balls almost the whole way through, but I got a feeling GT will be back to another BCS bowl in the near future.

If you thought that game was boring or sucked you’re either a Tech fan, don’t like football or don’t appreciate anything about the sport beyond flashy individual plays and only find interest when announcers point things out for you. Iowa had some fantastic pass routes, throws and catches in the first half. The blocking by Iowa’s o-line was superb all night long. On the last drive, Tech had 10 in the box and Wegher still broke for a TD. Ga Tech’s offense, although stymied for most of the night, did make some great second-half adjustments and put together two impressive drives running textbook option plays. Both teams played a consistent, disciplined, well-coached game. Spend some time watching the 21 other players who don’t have the ball and the game can be viewed with a much greater appreciation. If you enjoy only Sportscenter-worthy touchdown runs and throws, start watching flag football instead.

PJ has had two bowl games at GT and has had his ass kicked both times. This year was much better, but it begs the questions (1) is the ACC really, really that suckass and (2) why do talented, well-coached teams that have 4+ weeks to prepare have his offense ( and defense too) down pat?

I guess the game needed more stuff to ’splode and more boobies for some fans eh?

Our Bowl Game play showed significant improvement from year 1 to year 2. Maybe next year, we’ll actually win.
