PrintR.I.P, Cap'n Lou. We'll always remember you from the glory days of wrestling, but your work as Mario suits our purposes a bit more precisely for Wednesdays.
Sad Mustache Wednesday, motherfuckers. Captain Lou Albano, seen here as Mario, is dead.
Lou got money, but you shouldn't be surprised. Men with mustaches rake it in at a rate higher than lesser, non-mustachioed men.

Not many people could walk around with a rubber band sticking out of the side of their face (and by “not many” I mean none), but damn if he didn’t pull it off.
Is it correct that he played football at Tennessee? Someone told me this once but it seemed to good to be true.

Captain Lou Albano attended the University of Tennessee “briefly” on a football scholarship before leaving school and joining the Army.
….I wonder why the Army looked better than Knoxville shortly after he arrived? Never mind, I think I know….
