RICHRY RODSWITZERIGUEZ
It's not fair, but the resemblance to Fred Ward is stunning:
This is how you get Switzeriguez and Barwis running from rooftop to rooftop on campus, dodging huge, man-eating mutant worms Barwis shoots with an elephant gun. Also starring Reba McEntire, Michael Gross, and Lloyd Carr as "Grizzled Man with Golf Club Eaten in Opening Scene." (HT: Keo)

Barry Switzer sure as hell wouldn’t have gone 3-9 last season.

Great fark. I agree with PeteJayhawk; though, Boomer Sooner Switzer wouldn’t have gone 3-9. RR forked up when he lost Ryan Mallet. He was a better QB than any of the Meatchicken starters…. Arky will suprise some folks this year.

I can’t wait to see what LSUfreek is going to do with the RR presser.

No way Rich Rod should ever be compared to Switzer. Barry is an institution in cheating and a beloved one at that – because you never thought he was in it for personal gain. It was always about the players and their financial well-being, never about himself. I heard on a radio show (syndicated R&B show) back about a year ago – a lady caller called in and said she was a Sooner alum. She talked about back in the early 80’s they had something in Norman called the BSA – Black Student Alliance (or something like that) and that when they would have their parties, Switzer would show up in a full length mink coat (in my mind I picture a white one – like Miss Beverly Schnellenberger’s) and party with the BSA.
I have no doubt this is all true – you defame Switzer with this Rodriguez fellow, how dare you!

Friendly criticism: EDSBS could always benefit from more Burt Gummer references:

I’m sorry, but that picture is causing more than the necessary allotment of eye-bleed.
I keep thinking I’ll get used to it, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen.

Tremors is my 11 year old son’s favorite movie (tied with Jaws), so many thirst-quenching cocktails to you, my good sir!
