JOE COX, EVERYONE!

From SN Today's profile of Joe Cox: his favorite attribute is his hair, the skill he wants most is a good putting game, and one of his favorite movies is Anchorman. This means he'll get this joke when we say: it's the pleats, Joe.

Star-divide

Lack of protection may be an issue for the Georgia offense, especially up the middle.

There goes my resolution to finally grow up and not make Cox jokes.

The girl in the cubicle next to me just asked why I yelled “GROSSSS!!!”, seemingly out of nowhere.

I showed her the picture, and she had the same reaction.

Orson,

I think this post should be tagged with “Mooseknuckle”

what has been seen… cannot be unseen….

also: that was taken at a photo shoot. The photographer, the assistants, ANYONE THERE could see that would be a… small problem. Not to mention the photographer can retouch this stuff after the fact. He’s probably getting a terrific laugh out of this, because there is no way he missed that before it published.

There was a – um – similar photo taken of Stafford, too. I’m not altogether sure whether surnames that lend themselves to double entendre are required for this particular composition. I haven’t seen the shots of Gray, Murray, or Mettenberger.

Oh. Can I get a Cole Porter? No? “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered”? Still nothing?

Hmph. Stupid kids.

He kinda looks like Notre Dame’s mascot.

Which came first, his name or this picture? I am sure Dick Trickle and Casey Dick have similar profiles. Didn’t his mom teach him what underwear is for? I betcha they told Reggie Nelson not to try that……

Ye shall come to know the Ginger Assassin. And fear him.

Not much more to add to mr. winky.

Favorite attribute is my hair. That’s why I got a crew cut.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think this was an LSUFreek production. Seriously, how this photo made it past the SN editors without being sent back for retouching is beyond me.

While I appreciate that Joe is down with the brown as evidenced by his interest in the lovely Ms. Berry, the photo suggests he’ll leave her a tad . . . unsatisfied.

I’m no Dawgs fan, but for Pete’s sake, haven’t any of you people ever heard the expression “a grow-er, not a show-er?” If the flag’s not at full staff, photographic evidence is meaningless. Q.E.D.M.F.

Yes, but that’s not funny and frankly I have no interest in seeing Joe’s hard-on to confirm.

This reminds me of my favorite Lewis Grizzard headline from the Red and Black:

“Dawgs Play Cocks With Dix Out”

Bringing up the possibility of this gem in 2009:

“Dawgs Play Cocks With Cox Out”

Imagine how much shorter this thread would be if those disparaging Cox’s member were required to post their own for comparison’s sake. Probably shorter than Cox’s … hair.

by Tommy on Jul 23, 2009 3:20 PM EDT reply actions

Probably, Tommy. I’m a little camera shy since I retired from my lucrative career as stunt dong for John Holmes.4

And who are we to judge Joe Cox? Maybe it was really cold the day of the photo shoot. Or maybe he just got out of the pool.
