WIN FOREVER (WITH AUTOTUNE)

Email one, 6:49 p.m. EDT: Hey, yo, I think you should put this video on your blog. It's good.

Email two 7:38 p.m. EDT, from totally different guy: I am so embarrassed by this video as a USC alum.

Conflicting emails within a 49 minute span regarding the quality of an internet tribute video? Sold! ROLL THAT BITCHMAKER, STEVIE!!!

As someone who's managed to do it, sounding bad with autotune is quite an accomplishment. Feel free to break your shoulders with repeated, hyperextended pats on the back for that feat. On the positive side, the song does contains the lyric "Stop Gang Violence In LA," which truly does week of winforevertude.

I made it to 1:10, what do I win?

I can’t believe I made it all the way through. USC has a decent music recording school to boot and this is the best those dudes could do?

O. God. Could not even finish that. Hacccckkkkkggghghhgh…..

by Wes Wolfe on Jun 16, 2009 8:57 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Oh that wasn’t too bad. Hey, why are my ears bleeding?

by BurritoBrosShits on Jun 16, 2009 8:57 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Which is more cringe-worthy, this or the gtgs?

by kizzak on Jun 16, 2009 9:04 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

If this is what we have to suffer through till the season starts, we are sooooo fucked.

by BurritoBrosShits on Jun 16, 2009 9:21 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I was tempted to stop it after the guys started, but I forced myself to listen to at least the first chorus…by which time it was not nearly as grating.

Though the choreography was utterly hilarious.

I thought it was pretty funny…i think they tried to sound that bad on purpose…haha the shitty choreography and dancing is the best part

i made it through 10 seconds till i scrolled down and saw my sweet angel, the “after” girl on the 2 tips to lose your stomach fat advertisement. sha-wing…and totally not even the same girl as that little hogatha on the left but who cares because nobody porks fat chicks unless they’re coming back from being at the pool all day last saturday and have been drinking margaritas in the sun for hours so it makes it ok especially because she ordered pizza afterwards and was ‘cool’ with me not giving her my number. i mean my friend.

It’s no 1980s ode to Ohio State, but it’ll do.

I, too, only made it about a minute. Totally fuckin gay. And when I say gay, I mean Liberace thinks these guys are flamboyant.

W.T.F. I think these are the same guys that started rooting for the Lakers last week. Oh wait, they have U$C crocs and slippers, my bad.

I give them props for the basic concept and there were some good jokes in the lyrics and clowning around. It would have been much better had they gotten someone who could sing a little bit.

Overall I still give them a thumbs up.

This is so much better than listening to the kids in my house play rock band. Whoever invented that game should have his head placed between Warren Sapps inner thighs while he rocks out to sweaten to the oldies

Alabama fan is shamed he didn’t do this.

by SEC Forever on Jun 17, 2009 7:55 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

@5…At least the GTGs can sing in tune…And I like the fact that they have every somewhat attractive girl in the school in their videos.

@9….Fat girls work harder…..which is good, ‘cause clearly I don’t…….

There’s nothing worse than rich kids with too much time on their hands.

Go get a fucking job….

Incredibly (or not, now that I think about it), they’re taping their feet to two entirely different beats in the intro and they’re both off beat.

E-mailer # 2 was right.

“Email one, 6:49 p.m. EDT: Hey, yo, I think you should put this video on your blog. It’s good.”

What standard of “good” do you live by? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

by vegas_buckeye on Jun 17, 2009 11:12 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I’m with CKGator. This video is embarassing.

by CCTrojan on Jun 17, 2009 11:23 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

So so soooooooooo bad.

by Trojan Chica on Jun 17, 2009 12:58 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I blame the parents.

Harris @ 19 – based on your comment and some Zapruder-level film review, I can now confidently say that these young men are not USC students, they are in fact Notre Dame business students showing off their portable parquet floor dance skills.

Consider:

- Chronic absence of rhythm
- Large supply of suspiciously new fan accoutrements, consistent with a student-loan-fueled run through the bookstore catalog
- Spelling is largely correct
- Use of pictures of Pete Carroll arrayed like the Stations of the Cross
- Use of autotune and sunglasses to conceal their real identity, suggesting a deep sense of shame unknown to most USC undergraduates

Dastardly, but brilliant.

by dc trojan on Jun 17, 2009 2:19 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

As a Trojan alum… I am embarrassed. I would think that the university which produced Young MC, the great writer and performer of the late 1980’s hit Bust A Move, could have done better.

Now maybe YMC is busy spending his residuals. Even then, we’ve got Lil Romeo on the basketball team and he has time to rap because we all know he ain’t gonna play … actually with the current state of the basketball program, he might play.

@1:

That is the EXACT point I stopped the video at. agggghrhrhghhrlgah;ghag

The Reggie Bush jersey paired with a basketball jersey! Oh, they are just taunting the rest of us, aren’t they?
