BARRY SWITZER IS THE FUN NINJA
Further proof Barry Switzer never took this shit too seriously (shit="life"):

this and yesterday’s video makes me wish i would’ve had enough foresight as a child to stash away a box of the circa-89 “Oklahoma is still Switzerland” bumperstickers to adorn my vehicles for the rest of my life

Yes, just like I wish I had the postcards showing Bear walking on water saying “We Believe”.
Plus all my old orange & purple WALLACE FOR PRESIDENT bumper stickers.

I had a hat just like that ….of course it was 1981 and I was 8, so that doesn’t excuse Barry….. It was a Pittsburgh Steeler one and it came from Santa…or what I found out later was the Sears Christmas catalog.

Speaking of bumper stickers #1….does anyone have any THERE’S A (Gator, Bulldog, Tiger, Seminole, etc) IN THIS FORD bumper stickers that were all the rage when I was wearing my Steeler hat referenced above???

Look for cars on blocks in front yards and you’ll get a good head start. These days they have been replaced on running vehicles by the always-classy “Calvin pissing on the logo of my school’s rival” decals.

After watching that Orange Bowl intro… maybe bowls were more fun pre-BCS…

And that was just enough pre-game for me. I’m not sure what we’ve gained by getting in depth knowledge of Tebow’s parents or the high school Stafford came from. /old man, old man, old man/

True story: My dad was visiting my grandma(both lifelong Husker fans) in Nebraska and they were celebrating her b-day at some hotel in Lincoln and dad spots Switzer drinikin in the bar. He talks to Barry and asks him to come say hi to his mom for a moment, which Barry does. My grandma tells him “You sure did ruin a lot of Thanksgivings for us.” My dad said Switzer was a helluva nice guy, but gave my dad a hug and nearly broke his ribs. As a Husker fan from birth, I have to say Switzer is cool in my book anyday.
