When does having the name “Quinterrius Eatmon” put you on the second-string of your own high school’s all-name team? When Tremendous Campbell-Scott is up running this bitch, that’s when.
When having the star of Rodger Dodger’s entire name within your name is only the second most noteworthy thing about your name, you’ve truly got a moniker worthy of inscription on public granite. Tremendous Campbell-Scott is no Lemongello/Orangello urban myth: he is real and plays for Vigor High School, which unlike other schools goes to class without tiring for 12 periods straight before launching into a rigorous 2 hour PT session and subsequent nightly dance contest.

My mom used to teach at that high school. I can’t tell you how rough that place is. When someone in Prichard names their kid “Temendous,” that means something.
Fun fact: they were the 1985 National High School Football Champs, per ESPN or something like that.

Its true Foley gave Snake his start, along with Julio and Dj. Now Vigor was the defacto Parade National Champs in 1988, which they won the state championship for Alabama for 1988 and 1989. They also produced several Div 1 prospects on both sides of the ball off of that team. When it was Vigor getting all the talent back then, they were dominant in putting players in colleges and the NFL. Willie Anderson, who played left tackle for the Bengals and Auburn for a long time, is another Vigor alum. Then they got accused of “recruiting like Div 1 Farm league” and they rezoned the area and it seems the athletes go where the most talent is by staying with the endless amounts of relatives that are seemingly spread throught the 36606, 36607, 36610, 36605, 36617 area codes, predominately poorer black neighborhoods. 36695, 36693, 36608, 36619 36609 is basically the other schools in the more upper whiter schools, with St. Pauls and UMS-Wright being the private schools that can recruit via scholarships……Right after that, you had Blount high school step up with Sherman Williams, then Williamson with Tee Martin, and now, its as if Vigors been watered down with fragments of the talent pool it used to have. South Alabama has alot of talent, and when Auburn could dominate it, they did. Now you look at the roster and its filled with many of southern Alabamas best talent and best names. I think Tremendous is a top 5 All Name pick since you cant make this shit up. Kinda puts pressure on the kid, but I guess its better than naming him Octogenarian Loser Johnson, Jr.
