FULMER CUP: THE BIG BOARD
The board, late but still here courtesy of Brian. (Who, yes, is Mandingoesque in the manner of Reggie Nelson.)
Remember that Florida's points may go up--Carl Johnson's hearing has been moved on a continuance to April--and that Hawaii's score, unless assisted by another teammate, is solely the work of a single player, and would likely be discounted for the Ellis T. Jones III Award for Individual Achievement. It's February. We have a long, long way to go people.

So, who other than Carl Johnson was awarded points for UF. He was originally awarded 2. Is this new math? Was someone else arrested? I am so confused.

I just want to know why Carl Johnson isn’t being mentioned during all of this? Pro-gator bias?

Note to commentariat -
The first quarter of Fulmer Cup ends this weekend. We got off to a slow start, but finished the quarter strong. If the second quarter resumes like this one is ending it should be be a shootout – literally. Keep in mind, we haven’t even had spring break yet! With warmer weather comes more mischevious activity. My prediction, watch for Michigan to make a move in Q2.

Gators get double points to forstall any accusations of favoritism

O – the temporary injunction is a CIVIL matter. Even if the injunction was made permanent in April’s hearing – it would still be a CIVIL injunction and not subject to more Fulmer points. The only way points should go up would be if he was subsequently arrested for the alleged sexual assaults or – if he continued to violate the injunction.
[Showing my thug Gator bias]

etsu @#2…is Carl Johnson not getting mentioned in all this? Oh, he of the double secret peace bond…and triple sexual assault allegations from months ago (stemming from an argument about the use of a condom) which somehow went unreported…that Carl Johnson? We’ll see…

I agreez with the lawyering deftly displayed in #6. Florida’s got two points for Mr. San Andreas Carl Johnson.

I’ve always wondered which Brian is well endowed? Is it Georgia Tech Brian or Michigan Brian?

I know Brian Cook is MGoBrian, but there is Brian from Ramblin’ Racket as well. I wasn’t sure which of the two runs the board and is swinging low.

Finally, the Gators finally do something that the police find out about NOT in season! We’ve already had one Gator booted off the team for choke slamming a girl in her dorm room and telling her he’d do who knows what to her if she called the cops. But, “No problem, mon!!!” It’s during the season!!! You can beeotch slap girls and give ‘em two caps in the back of the head as long as it’s football season in the Orson world!!
Hey, Orson, can I get a “Get outta jail free card” from Sept-Dec? I got this hot girl that won’t give me her sex, but I can wait for a few months to get “My Gator” on!

Don’t know how this will affect the standings, but Brennan Houston of Southern Miss (reserve linebacker with the weed, not the RB with the itchy trigger finger) pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor possession charge.
The judge will hold his ruling for six months. If the kid complies with the probation requirements, the charges will then be dismissed.

Amazed that all UGA players have nearly made it through two months without moving vehicular violations.

OnTap… you gotta know the rules to play the game. The Fulmer Cup’s namesake was notorious for having offseason troubles. Thus it is an offseason contest. The FC is a fine institution, but do you really think anyone would pay attention the the FC race when there’s tueasday-night MAC football to watch? Didn’t think so.
Meg… Give it time. Spring Break will soon be upon us. The weather will start to warm. QBs will cuddle. And a Georgia player will get pulled over after a two-hour game of “where’s the bottom of this bottle?”

ontap,
It was a ‘frog-splash’ made famous by Eddie Guerrero, not a choke slam.

i really hate to admit it, but it is no longer the fact that some criminals are out walking the streets or on shorter sentences due to the plea bargain process, rather it is the impact that it has of the FC scoring.
It is also disturbing to me that through 7 years in college and 30 years on this earth, I still know more about the legal system from watching Law & Order and from reading this feature than i ever learned elsewhere…
thank you EDSBS.

Jay @ #21…just wait…Kiffy’s gotta be workin’ up some pure, high quality levels of dumbass…who says coaches can’t contribute to the Fulmer Cup’s glorification of idiocy? Isn’t throwing that Stuckey’s Pecan Log Roll out the bus window at a passing car illegal? Maybe not in Dollyworld…

How many points for being invaded by the FBI?
Rumor is, Tebow’s the brainchild. Never suspect the circumcisioner.
This must put UF at the pinnacle, no matter how much WVU, UL, FSU, Ball State and Sweatervest want it.
