FULMER CUP: YOUR RIGHT DOOR IS AJAR
A moderate ovation for Ball State, making a name for itself as the class of the MAC in the offseason as well as on the field. Their starting kicker Ian McGarvey got hisself locked up this weekend for DUI.

Can’t imagine what went wrong here, smooth operator:
The officer told McGarvey police received a call about a suspicious vehicle that matched his car. McGarvey – who did not look at the officer while talking – said he did not know why someone would report him because he was driving normally, according to the report.
That’s 2 points for the DUI, with an additional 1 point tacked on for McGarvey’s tender age of 19 and attendant underage consumption charge.

Don’t get me wrong Holly, I totally heart you. I just must have missed the memo.

Way to go!
At least he didn’t piss on himself like Dominic Rhodes…
or fall asleep at the drive thru like Preston Parker…
or throw up like Chris Henry out the window…
See you in the spring!

I thought kickers didnt count? Hell, they dont even practice with the team hardly.
I wonder if he had the walk the line, and went wide left?
I betcha the cop would have cut him some slack, but once he found out he was a kicker, its on. No one likes kickers. Especially drunk ones.

I’m not sure how bad you have to be driving to get someone to call and report you, but in Muncie, Indiana I’m sure it’s a lot (speaking from experience). That’s two kickers for my Cardinals making news in the offseason! One for getting plowed, one for what he was plowing.

Looks like the bowl might have slipped a little when he got that haircut. I love a good bowl cut though.
