This delay in programming is brought to you by comcast, who insists someone be home from 8--11 to hook up our cable. When they don't show--and they likely won't--we will continue the regular programming from the coffee shop down the street.

If you can really get them down to a 3 hour window, then I have no sympathy, as I was a victim of the “sometime wednesday…” treatment from Charter two weeks ago.

btw the problem with my cable still isn’t fixed, they just moved it from one tv to another.

First, living down the street from a coffee house is awesome. I once lived “down the street” (and around a corner) to the Jittery Joe’s in Five Points, Athens, GA. There’s nothing quite like being able to take a quiet stroll to a good cup of joe.

Now, I live in the country and I still live “down the street” from a Jittery Joe’s. It’s just 6 miles down the street. Goin’ hafta take mah pickup fer a lahtaa.

Second, what damn fool still pays for cable? DirecTV has been very very good to me.

I quit Charter and went to Dish after the guy behind the counter threatened to kill me. He was being an asshole and I called him on it. Who knew he would get so mad?
