I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing that.

I’m excited over the prospects of Bradford coming back for another year, and not only Bradford but the other three underclassmen that were expected to go pro early. It gives OU another shot at losing the national title game. Is it bad that (after a few days, the post-game walk to the car dressed in a red blazer and khakis with little OU’s on them was the obvious taunt fest and the nausea has just now started to lighten up) I’m almost considering this a win in that it’s the first time that OU hasn’t had their ass handed to them in a title game? I mean, wow…we didn’t get blown out.

add trent williams and jermaine grisham to the list of those coming back to lose another title game

I do not know why Florida fans are so proud of that play. It was illegal in two ways. He got there before Johnson touched the ball and he led with his helmet.

Rumor has it that the Gators will be losing Wondy Pierre-Louis as he has declared. Makes since to me, he can’t start at Florida but maybe he can catch on as an undrafted free agent in the NFL. Not like he can get his draft stock up by being a special teams star at UF, might as well go. Not a bad deal for a kid from Port-au-Prince who was living in squalor 3 1/2 years ago.

It’s like one minute they’re separate people, and then all of a sudden the video just JUMPS and Wright’s cranium has become fused with Johnson’s Adam’s apple. And then just as quickly, they’re separate organisms again.

@4 & 5
Well, at least losing a BCS game won’t come as a shock, unlike encountering an SEC Defense.
major wright go boom.

So, nobody but Stafford wants to get drafted by the Lions?
Can’t say I blame them.

Tebow vs Bradford II : This Time, its Personal! Except Tim will forgive him…….

I am sure they will call this season:
Florida and Oklahoma: The Race to Play USC…….
and of course Tim is coming back for the elusive UNDEFEATED FLORIDA BCS NATIONAL CHAMPS! Death to America!

Some errors in the comments to iron out: 1) to them oklahoma: Of the 4 BCS title games Oklahoma has played in only one was a blow out. This one was by a larger margin than the LSU loss.
2) It wasn’t a cheap shot by the major, it was just a helluva hit.
3) Jermaine Gresham (not “Grisham” you Musberger-esc douche) is not returning to OU.

I just guessed that earning millions of dollars must be more work than its worth on a sucky team in a bad city….., or playing for basically sex and alcohol in school(Tebow excluded of course)…I thought things would get better with Matt Millen gone, but I also thought the same thing about Iraq with Saddam gone too…..Detroit>Iraq?

I have not seen it talked about but that should have been PI. He arrived before the ball did. Great hit but I think the ref was so amazed that he did not think to throw the flag

I see nobody cares that Wright arrived before the ball did.

Oh, Oh Dept:
Oh, oh…like PT, # 15, I think Sanchez might now be more willing to jump to the No Fun League.
Is Tx’s McCoy jumping too, or staying with Bevo and the other BS’ers?

Jug Head’s Prediction Dept
or
The Matador is Gone Dept:
ESPN’s Jughead Mortenson said that USC’s Mark Sanchez plans to announce Thursday that he will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
If ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen (Jughead) said it, then it must be true.

Mark, tie goes to the guy aiming his helmet at another man’s throat. And if you could see that in real-time, you should probably be a ref/superhero (although I’m not sure what incredibly accurate eyesight would really do for a superhero(.

Mark Sanchez definitely gone. Wonder if Mitch Mustain can beat out Aaron Corp. Taylor Mays should have left. Nothing to be gained from staying. Guy is a lock Top 15 selection, possibly a Top 10 pick.

Dynamic Duo Dept:
How ’bout going for two?
Have not seen the two-QB system used at USC, but it may work with Mustain and Corp.
Mustain is accurate but not that mobile.
Corp is very mobile and may not be as accurate as Mustain.
Platoonery leads to buffonery, usually, but it may work with the Dynamic Duo of Mustain and Corp.

May we please have at least one day this week to be dedicated to Ricardo Montalban & Patrick McGoohan? Surely “Fantasy Island,” Wrath of Khan," and “The Prisoner” are fertile platforms for exploit.

It is Musburger-esque (not -esc) mother fucker. The people who comment here read more than just sports blogs on that system of tubes you call the internets. You don’t write for a living, do you?

when did the commenters from youtube start migrating over to EDSBS?
EDSBS commenterati would rather you took your chest beating abusiveness back to your AOL chat rooms. I hear there’s a channel for everyone over at 4chan – /b loves the college football crowd there. Make sure you post your phone number.

Gotta believe that actual scouts (as in those that aren’t Todd McShay or Mel Kiper), didn’t have Bradford rated too highly. As a college football fan, gotta love when a big name comes back (but I’m glad Sanchez is going), it makes things more interesting.

great call
in the future, if i relay what appears to be inside information re: OU, just let it sit b/c it’s probably true

- - If you look closely at the play, you will see the ball hit Major Wright in the shoulder just before he actually makes contact with the receiver, which makes it legal. Once the ball is touched by any player, it is no longer pass interference. At the very least, the ball hits Wright at the exact same time as he hits the receiver. And like someone already said, you’d have to have super human eyes and the ability to slow down time to even tell that much at real speed.

“I am sure they will call this season:
Florida and Oklahoma: The Race to Play USC ."
I think everyone will assume Florida and the Big 12 South winner will play in the Championship. USC may be on the outside looking in.
I think the shine is off USC for now (except Herbstreit who will continue his virtual blowjobs of the Trojans just becuase they beat up on Big 10 teams). Not that USC still isn’t a great program, but their benefit-of-the doubt years are over for now. Of course, if they go undefeated, then no problem.
With Sanchez turning pro, most of the defense leaving, and Hazelton leaving, it will be interesting to see how fast USC can regroup. Certainly they have the talent, but it doesn’t always work out that they can develop that quickly.

@15- Late response as this may be, here you go: If you watched the OU-LSU debacle, the score was close. The game…it wasn’t. That was an ass kicking, I’m sorry to say. Also, as okiedomer pointed out, Gresham is staying for another title loss.
