NO SOLILOQUIES: JUST LIVEBLOG.

Liveblog, here, 8 p.m. I'm not going to moderate a single comment, so we'll need marshals. We'll chime in as we can, since typing with one hand wrapped around your throat to choke the hysteria out of yourself is hard, hard work.

No soliloquies, no sermons, just the moment itself. Right now we need nothing more. No matter what happens, thank you for your support of EDSBS and its associated endeavors.

As an Alabama fan, I’m pulling for Floriday. Despite the sting of losing to the Gators and our debacle of a bowl game, I think Tebow is an amazing athlete and a decent human being, and Florida as a team is outstanding.

I hope it’s a good game, and I hope that Urban Meyer wins his second national championship at Florida so he will become an even more attractive candidate for the Notre Dame job when Weiss gets sacked.

Other No-No’s Dept:

In addition to No Soliloquies and No Sermons…
…How about the following no-no’s and yes’-yes’:

1) no playoff talk (all are for this) during game

2) no Bama fans trying to threadjack

3) no Texas shudda been heah (they obviously do not belong in this game after laying an egg the other night)

These other topics should be encouraged:

1) flirting with Holly (just to read the Holly comeback)

2) typin’ while drinkin’

3) Is Tebow for real type commentary

May the force be with you.

And also with you.

I’m a UF fan since birth but If I was an OU fan I’d use Tebow- You will believe a man can cry.

Personally, I just use the the Lebron thing- and say we are all witnesses, when Tim wins this year and returns for his senior it will become clear to all the haters that we watched the greatest player of our generation- Young may have hade a higher peak but no one I have ever seen in college sports has will like Tebow does, OU may have a better team, Tim may not be one of the best passers in UF history but I’ve never believed in a QB like I do Tim, go Gators.

Silver top in my hand, and murder in my heart- must be gameday. Go Gators.

I can’t decide what I want to see more tonight: Tebow crying (although I’m pulling for UF) or shots of the bands on TV.

So, I want the best of both worlds: band members crying on TV.

@roaminggator – Me too…me too.

God, all of this NFL talk, and may lightning not strike me down, college hoops talk is annoying me at the moment. This game needs to get here NOW!

GO GATORS!!!!!
I’m putting the TV on mute and plugging the radio through the speakers instead. My God this telecast will suck suck suck. I just hope we beat the fuck out of those land-stealing-Toby-Ketih-loving-near-beer-drinking pieces of shit from Oklahoma. Give ’em Hell Gators!

Jesus BBS, tell us how you really feel

I’ll weigh in…

Just finished watching Holly’s video, and I’m jacked.

It’s been a pleasure sharing the season and all its ups and downs with the posters here.

I anxiously await this game and promise to be back tomorrow, gracious in victory or defeat. Good luck Gators… let’s not have any injuries on either side…

NEWS!!

Tebow replaces “Phil. 4:13” on his eye black with “Deut. 28:59”… The Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses.

Do NOT call out Jesus Jr., sooners

decemberist, is that true? Because that would be fucking EPIC.

by italiangator on Jan 8, 2009 7:31 PM EST reply actions

@Stacy Kiebler,

Just to be clear, Alabama fan or not, I was perfectly serious when I said that I like Tim Tebow, and that I am hoping for a good game and a Florida victory. I certainly wasn’t attempting to threadjack anything. My comment about Urban Meyer was an (apparently lame) attempt at humor and intended (in an apparently lame way) to show respect for something that only a handful of coaches have done. shrugs

I vote for Eze. 25:17 myself: “The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.”

I know, it’s actually 8-17 with a little of the 23rd Psalm thrown in…but it’s still some bad ass shit to say before you blow away a motherfucker.
