It’s nice to see lil’ boridicus get some internet face time! St. Pete looks awesome. Hopefully you treated yourself to some authentic cuban food (think puerto rican).

Holy Mullet, Batman!

Billy Ray would be very, very proud.

If you haven’t gotten into an argument with an opposing fan over absolutely nothing, you haven’t experienced college football.

I take it the 6-pack of High Life was sufficient?

Orson, you appear to be the Tim Tebow of Putt-Putt. Well played.

So. Miss receiver just broke his leg. Disgustingly so.

by pw on Dec 21, 2008 8:43 PM EST reply actions

Yeah, pw. Brown flapped his wings on the way out, though, so at least he’s in shock.

@9

They just wouldn’t turn the camera away. Times like that I miss FOX broadcasts where they miss complete plays and show shots of the crowd instead.

I hope he was insured.

The reaction of the Troy player that looked down at him was my exact same reaction in my living room. Gotta love DVRs….or maybe not.

I gotta wonder, did he have a previous injury to that leg in the same spot, ie break it previously? He wasn’t touched….just running down the field….not drinking much milk apparently.

Let’s see…. DeAndre Brown, listed as a freshman. Graduated from Ocean Springs HS in 2008, so he’s not a redshirt freshman. Was the 4th ranked WR according to Rivals100. He’s 6’6’, 208 lbs, ran a 4.62 forty and had a 28" vertical.

Bummer! He seems like a good kid. What’s the recovery time from a break like that?

When did Phil Knight take over the SMU football program?

A couple of observations from Troy – So Miss:

1. How the hell did every all-name team I’ve seen miss a kicker named Barefoot?

2. At this rate, by 2009 Shaun King will need to be craned into the booth and brought out of it by the Jaws of Life.

The former Homecoming Queen & Miss Florida Majorette of Boca Ciega HS is upset that there is no mention of Ted Peters Famous Smoked Fish, where mackerel is now available.

John, He didn’t. June Jones did.

But, yes, Southern Miss’s unis were tough to look at.

My folks on a timeshare on Redington Beach. Nice area to spend a week, I’d visit more frequently if I didn’t live in Nebraska.

Also, @yoyofutbawl

Sweet god Ted Peters is delicious. Love that place!

That does it. All future vacation and discretionary income goes toward spending as much time in St. Pete as possible. I’m sold.
