THANKSGIVING WEEKEND SCHEDULE
You may have noticed an omission in the list of things we were thankful for in the Naked Sushi picks for the week. That blank: you, left out intentionally so we can devote this post to thank you, the cantankerous but lovable reader, for wasting your school/work time supporting this website and its assorted endeavors. Hugs all around, especially to those we’ve wronged, like one former Florida quarterback we swore would never win an important game at Florida. We were wrong, and thank you for proving us so.
We’re off to remember friends and family’s names until Saturday. We suggest you do the same. Happy Thanksgiving, and thanks to Florida for giving us the best present we’ll get all year long, which you may see after the jump.

yeah yeah thanksgiving whatever. I have not posted in a while because I’m still staring blankly into space, and thinking “Lane Kiffin??” And yes Swindle, I’d make a lot more money if it wasn’t for you. But thank you right back, you entertaining bastard.

And we are thankful for Swindle, Stranko, Holly, and Uncle Verne, in no particular order.

I am thankful for for being self-employed, because, were I not self-employed, my boss would certainly be unhappy with the inordinate amount of time I spend here from 9-5.
Thank you Orson, Holly, and all the commentariat. Have a great holiday everyone!

I guess this will be the unofficial live thread for the Friday games. But the Friday games aren’t that good this year anyway, so I might go out instead.

Don Gilbert de las Montanas says:
Hey #8, what do you mean the Friday games aren’t that good this year? The day starts off with the Backyard Brawl! West by god Virginia looking for some payback on Shitt, er Pitt.
That’ll be pure, unadulterated, Grade A hate seething all around inside Hienz Field. It’s a hate so intense there is little in the rest of the college universe to match it (’cept maybe Tennessee/’Bama).

Thanks to O and H for fun times. The State of Georgia thanks you. Especially in these hard economic times.
And, honestly, do you Big 10 people have sex anywhere other than football games? Jeez. It’s one thing to chunk empty airplane bottles of Beam at the refs, but sex? In a stadium restroom? That’s gross.

Thank you to Orson, Holly, LSUFreek, Stranko, and Donnie for making this a site I love to come to for my College Football fix, and to laugh incessantly.
Thanks to my fellow posters, particularly Harris and DCTrojan, and all the gang from the Liveshow – Peter Bean, Barstoolio, Texy, etsuVol, Crabapple Buck, Mr. Pelican Pants, Kanu, and everyone else I failed to mention. You constantly challenge me to keep up with you, and I hope I have.
Finally, thanks to all the sponsors of the pre-show – Raycom (I’ll miss y’all), ESPN (please hire The Three Daves, I write to you about this every day), Delta, and others, thanks for all you do to allow me to come up with those wacky slogans.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Be safe.

Thanks for giving me something to do in class, while I’m supposed to be research, and while I should be out getting shit faced. Thanks for saying the things we want to say, but don’t have the facilities to do so. Thanks for giving us hope during the rest of the year, when all we have is fucking baseball and basketball. Thanks for doing this Orson, Holly, LSUfreek, and all of the Committee to Maintain Commenting Standards.

#17, i don’t think Orson meant to thank you, tre douche. Fulmer Cup is only in the off-season.
#9, you are insane, if in your couch-burning lunacy you honestly think Wf’nVU-Pitt is a compelling matchup to anyone not from Wf’nVU.
-this year, not even Pitt fans are interested, thanks to PSU’s rousing/boring conquering of the smelly mcweakpants league, the BigTeleven.
It’s sad too, b/c with the ASS…er ACC and PAC10 so generally pitiful, it might”ve been ya’lls year to get a Natty nod.
i am thankful for clever Holly’s breasts (thx Tebow, i know they belong to you) and Stranko, but Orson can get stuffed for all i care.

Well, it’s clear that the tide at The Mouse has turned – as predicted – and tonight was the first evidence:
“. . . it’s become almost fashionable to defend the BCS because it’s been attacked for so long and the playoff proponents are really just howling into the wind.” Chris Fowler during the Texas-Texas A&M game
Not necessarily a direct defense, but a subtle agenda change from Bristol. No real surprise there. Ya gotta feed the monkey, you know. Man.

May be the greatest chant in all of sport to scream at a most hated rival.
I’ve been hating Pitt since February of ‘79 which is the time I entered this world. It’s an f’n birthright in West by God and I can’t wait for the next 11 1/2 hours to go by until…..the hate…..the hate boils over. If WVU wins the game by 100, it’s still not enough.

coming to this post late I regret not being expedient with my thanking Mr Swindle and Ms HRA… I think about this site and it’s comments (and the replies you goofy bastards) more often than I care to admit… almost infatuation level (this is close to the point where I start writing poetry about something…sheesh)
When my team is on top I revel in seeing how others are envious and amazed at their performance. Even when my team sends out depresso-rays with it’s performance and I lose all urge to read newspapers or ‘net news, I still come back here to catch the buzz about CFB. This site makes me giggle at Wannastache’s Stache, smile at Mangino’s Magnitude, flipout over Fulmer’s Follies, and laff at Leach’s Liveliness. I am thankful to it and it’s authors (and artists, LSUfreek) in a big way.
I close this diatribe with the immortal words ringing in my head at the beginning of each game I watch…
’nuff said….NOW IT’S CLOBBERIN’ TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
